The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Excellent Performance by Lyallpur Khalsa College Students of MA-Music (Vocal)



Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur informed that Gurdeep Singh, a student has bagged 3rd position in the MA Music (Vocal)-III Semester by getting 367 marks out of 400, whereas Inder Preet Kaur secured 4th positions by getting 365 marks, Harsimranjit Kaur secured 8th positions by getting 350 marks and Tajinder Jeet Singh secured 10th position by getting 346 marks in the same class. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Mrs. Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished them success in life. Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Head, Department of Music was also present on this occasion.
