The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College presented research papers in a two-day national conference

The students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar are known for their achievements in academics as well as achievements in sports, cultural, literary and research fields. Continuing the journey of achievements in the field of research and study, the students of the Department of Physiotherapy of the college participated and presented research papers in the two-day national conference “Physio Conclave” organized by PGI Chandigarh in association with Maharishi Markandeshwar University. These students were honored by Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur and Dr. Raju Sharma, Head Department of Physiotherapy at the college. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur congratulated the department and students and heard their experiences of the conference. She inspired the students to continue to research in the future as well. Dr. Raju Sharma, Head Department of Physiotherapy informed that the students Manjot Kaur, Simranjit Kaur, Manpreet Angural, Amanjit Kaur, Yasasvi, Manmeet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur presented their research papers in the said conference and answered the questions of the students very wisely.
