The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Win University Merit Positions in MA-Music (Vocal)-I Semester

 


Student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar performed excellently in Guru Nanak Dev University exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur informed that Madhvi, a student has bagged 2nd position in the MA Music (Vocal)-I Semester by getting 363 marks out of 400, whereas Deepika secured 4th positions by getting 350 marks, Ritik Gill secured 5th positions by getting 349 marks, Takshu Kailey secured 6th positions by getting 347 marks, Bharat Mal secured 9th positions by getting 341 marks, and Preety secured 10th position by getting 340 marks in the same class. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished them success in life. Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Head, Department of Music and Prof. Rupali were also present on this occasion.
