Jatt Sikh Council at Lyallpur Khalsa College elects Kuljit Singh Hair as the new President at the Annual meeting

The annual general meeting of the Jatt Sikh Council, Jalandhar was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, in which the founders and life members of the Jatt Sikh Council participated in large numbers. The Secretary of the Governing Council of Lyallpur Khalsa College S. Jaspal Singh Waraich warmly welcomed all the guests and presented the agenda of the meeting. It is worth mentioning here that this council is a non-governmental organization providing financial assistance to deserving and talented Jatt Sikh students and has been working in this field for a long time. In this meeting, Sardar Kuljit Singh Hair was elected as the President of the Jatt Sikh Council for this year in place of D. H.S. Mann. NSS Units Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar Conclude Seven Day Special NSS Camp

The ongoing Seven Day Special NSS Camp 2025-26 under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India concluded at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. The said camp was organized from 20th to 26th December 2025 in the college campus and its adopted villages. College Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur congratulated the NSS volunteers who successfully completed the camp. During the interaction with volunteers, she concluded that the activities of the volunteers during the camp regarding personality development, community service, awareness rallies, street plays on drugs, and life style of the villagers have given vital inputs to students about the challenges that our community and youth face. Lyallpur Khalsa College NSS Units start Seven Day Special Camp

Lyallpur Khalsa College regularly organizes different programs for the overall all development of its students. Considering this, NSS Units of the college initiated Seven Day Special Camp today which is being organized from 20th to 26th December 2025 under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt.of India. Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur inaugurated the camp by planting a sapling in the campus. She motivated the NSS volunteers to be part of this personality development and youth empowerment camp. She said that youth is indispensable cog in the achievement of Vikshit Bharat Dream by 2047. She opined that progress of the nation depends on the equal development of rural and urban development. Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Receive Scholarships from Jatt Sikh Council

Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, while providing scholarships to needy and meritorious students, also encourages various non-governmental organizations to provide scholarships to its students. Under this, a scholarship of Rs. 80 thousand was given by “The Jatt Sikh Council (Regd.)” to 10 needy and meritorious students of various institutions of Lyallpur Khalsa College, out of which 8 students were flood-affected and 2 students were academically excellent. Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Participate in One Race Marathon

Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is known for its commitment towards all round development of its students as well as participation in social welfare programs. Keeping this intact, NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, athletes and students of the college participated in the One Race Half Marathon organized by Capital Small Finance Bank on 7 December. Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur in her message appreciated the organizers & participants to organize such mega events. She added that youth's participation in this half marathon themed 'War Against Drugs' conveys a significant message that the youth of Punjab is ready to take progressive steps towards healthy society and nation building. She added that these running events test the stamina and perseverance of the runners.
