Release of Santokh Bhullar's book on Saroop Singh's painting at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar and Sahitya Kala Kendra organized a public presentation ceremony of the unique and very important book "Chitran Da Sahitya Sumail" written by versatile writer Santokh Bhullar. The book is about the cultural history of the portraits of Punjabi literary figures as portrayed by internationally renowned Punjabi painter Sardar Saroop Singh. The event was held at the college auditorium. In this book, one hundred and fifteen Punjabi writers related to Sufi, Gurmat, Qisa and modern literary trends along with portraits prepared by Saroop Singh of personalities belonging to five other cultures and informative written by Santokh Bhullar about the life and contribution of those personalities are included. Commencement of Summer Football Coaching Camp at Lyallpur Khalsa College

The Punjab Sports Department organized two-day selection trials at Lyallpur Khalsa College

  Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, which has made a distinct identity in the field of sports, was the venue chosen by the Punjab Sports Department to organize football and handball trials for boys and girls for the session 2024-25. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Dean Sports Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Selection Committee Members and Coaches introduced themselves to the football players. About 200 sportsmen and players from Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, DAV College Jalandhar, Mohan Lal Uppal DAV College Phagwara, Sikh National College Banga and Khalsa College Amritsar participated in these trials. Balshaan Singh of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 1st position in the University exams of Diploma in Computer Maintenance - I Sem by getting 8.50 CGPA out of 10, whereas Kiranjot Kaur has bagged 2nd position by getting 8.25 CGPA and Manik Shelly have bagged 3rd positions by getting 8.00 CGPA in the same class. Lyallpur Khalsa College Celebrates Inter-National Yoga Day

NSS Units Lyallpur Khalsa College observed International Yoga Day at College Campus by organizing a soul enriching Yoga Session. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh in his opening remarks emphasized on the importance of yoga and its increasing popularity at international level. He added that in present scenario when lack of patience, stress and anxiety are taking toll on human body and mind, Yoga is a better option to relax body and mind from negative impacts of fast moving life. Department of Biotechnology of the college, which is founder department in Punjab, started the department in the year 2001.
