The political science department of Lyallpur Khalsa college, Jalandhar visited  Birdh  Ashram and charitable society Budhiana. The purpose of this visit was inculcation of moral and ethical values among students. During this visit the students  interacted with the people who are living in this Ashram and they tried to understand their aspects of life. Principal Prof. Navdeep kaur praised these types of activities and motivated students to deeply understand these ways of life also. During this visit Head P.G. Dept.of Physiotherapy of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar celebrated Green Diwali. The objective of the event was to decorate earthen pots and make decorative material from waste. Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur inaugurated the event and said that we all need to get aware about our environment. She shared her concern about the increase of pollution and fire crackers aggravate the situation. She appealed to avoid fire crackers and celebrate diwali in an eco-friendly manner to make the earth livable for generations to come.
