The Girls' Hostel of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar hosted the much-awaited Fresher’s Party 2025 to formally welcome the new batch of resident students.

The Girls' Hostel of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar shimmered with youthful energy and vibrant colours as it hosted the much-awaited Fresher’s Party 2025 to formally welcome the new batch of resident students. The event took place on October 11, 2025 at the hostel premises and was graced by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Suman Chopra, as the Chief Guest. The evening began with a traditional welcome ceremony where the principal was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers by the Girl’s Hostel In-Charge, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur Sandhu, and the Girl’s Hostel warden, Ms Kanta Nagpal, symbolizing the respect and warm greetings. In a briefbut motivating address, the principal extended a warm welcome to the newcomers and encouraged them to embrace hostel life as a period of learning, growth, and lasting friendships.The party was a lively affair, featuring a series of dazzling cultural performances organized by the hostel resident, which included Kashmiri Dance, Dogri Dance, Haryanvi Dance, Classical Dance and Punjabi Bhangra, showcasing the beautiful amalgamation of different cultures under one roof, a principle which this institute always endorses.The evening's main highlight was the modelling competition, where new students showcased their unique styles and confidence on the ramp. Following several captivating rounds, the judges (Prof. Kajal Sharma and Prof. Arshiya Sharma from Department of Pharmacy)announced the winners of the evening's title awards. The coveted Miss Fresher title was awarded to Samiti (BA LLB-Ist Sem), while Komal (BSc-RIT Ist Sem) and Harpreet (BPT-Ist Year) were crowned Miss Radiant and Miss Ravishing, respectively.The winners were felicitated with sashes and crowns amidst loud cheers and applause from the audience.The program was gracefully conducted by the talented anchors, Ms. Ashima Sharma (BPT-IVth year) and Ms Amisha (BA-LLB Vth Sem), who kept the audience engaged with their lively interaction and seamless coordination.The event concluded with a DJ night and refreshments, leaving the students with a trove of beautiful memories. The celebration truly set the tone for a promising and joyful journey ahead for theresidents of the Girls’ Hostel.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਬੈਚ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਫਰੈਸ਼ਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ 2025 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਸ਼ਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਇੱਕ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ, ਡਾ. ਅਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਾਰਡਨ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਕਾਂਤਾ ਨਾਗਪਾਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਲਦਸਤਾ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜੋ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਆਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਣ, ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਈ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਲੜੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਡਾਂਸ, ਡੋਗਰੀ ਡਾਂਸ, ਹਰਿਆਣਵੀ ਡਾਂਸ, ਕਲਾਸੀਕਲ ਡਾਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭੰਗੜਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਛੱਤ ਹੇਠ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਮੇਲ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਾਮ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਣ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਂਪ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਸ਼ੈਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਈ ਮਨਮੋਹਕ ਦੌਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜੱਜਾਂ (ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਕਾਜਲ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਰਸ਼ੀਆ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ) ਨੇ ਟਾਈਟਲ ਅਵਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਿਸ ਫਰੈਸ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਸਮਿਤੀ (ਬੀ.ਏ. ਐਲ.ਐਲ.ਬੀ-ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਕੋਮਲ (ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਆਰ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਅਤੇ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ (ਬੀਪੀਟੀ-ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਾਲ) ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਮਿਸ ਰੇਡੀਐਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਚਾਰਮਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਜ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਮਿਸ ਆਸ਼ਿਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (ਬੀ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਾਲ) ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਅਮੀਸ਼ਾ (ਬੀ.ਏ. ਐਲ.ਐਲ.ਬੀ. ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਡੀਜੇ ਨਾਈਟ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਫਰੈਸ਼ਮੈਂਟ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਭਰੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਲਈ ਸੁਰ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
