NSS unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College celebrated NSS Foundation Day in the college campus

 

NSS unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College celebrated NSS Foundation Day in the college campus by organizing an awareness seminar in collaboration with Humsafar Youth Club NGO and MY Bharat Kendra Jalandhar. Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the gathering on NSS foundation day and encouraged the volunteers to participate in social welfare activities and contribute to nation building. She lauded the continuous efforts of the NSS unit of the college by organizing awareness programs and rallies. Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh oriented new volunteers about the aims, objectives of NSS and role of a volunteer. He also explained the various opportunities NSS provides to improve one’s personality. Then Mr. Rohit Bhatia, the resource person of the event, explained the various social welfare schemes run by central and state governments. He stated the importance of the Labour Card and Ayushman Bharat Card for the under privileged society. He opined that as per the factual data, most of the downtrodden people are unaware about these schemes and these awareness programs. Second speaker, Ms. Poonam Bhatia appealed to all NSS volunteers to share these welfare schemes with needy people around them. During this program, MY Bharat Kendra Jalandhar released the poster of Vikshit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025. At last, Prof. Satpal Singh thanked the resource person and the gathering. This event was witnessed by around 100 NSS volunteers and staff members. During the event, NSS Program Officer Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Mr. Gaurav, Mr. Kulwinder and Gudiya from My Bharat Kendra, Senior NSS volunteer Jaskaran Singh were also present.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਇਕਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹਮਸਫ਼ਰ ਯੂਥ ਕਲੱਬ ਐਨ.ਜੀ.ਓ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ 'ਤੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਜ ਭਲਾਈ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੈਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਇਕਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਵਕਤਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਭਾਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਮਾਜ ਭਲਾਈ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਛੜੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਲਈ ਲੰਬਰ ਕਾਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਆਯੂਸ਼ਮਾਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਕਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਦੱਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਦੱਬੇ ਕੁਚਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਲਾਈ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਨ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇਹ ਨ, ਮਾਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਯੋਗ ਲੀਡਰਜ਼ ਡਾਇਲਾਗ 2025 ਦਾ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਵਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਭਗ 100 ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਡਾ. ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਮਿਸ ਪੂਨਮ ਭਾਟੀਆ, ਮਾਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੌਰਵ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਡੀਆ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਜਸਕਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
