Students of Physiotherapy Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College participated in State Level Conference

Around 35 Students of Physiotherapy Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar participated in the State Level Conference organized by Punjab Chapter of Indian Association of Physiotherapists. This information was given by the College Principal Dr. Suman Chopra who told that In the conference Simranjit Kaur of BPT Part IV, secured the overall third position in paper presentation. She added that the focus of these activities was to promote among the students learning by experience and participation of the students in such an activity was in following of this objective. Speaking on the occasion the head of the department Dr. Raju Sharma informed that in the program the students also participated in cultural programs like Himachali group dance (Naati), solo dance, Rangoli, poster making, face painting etc. In this conference, the teachers of the department Dr. Priyak Shardha and Miss Amanjit Kaur were also honored for their contribution to the field of Physiotherapy.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਫਿਜਿਓਥਰੈਪੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਫਿਜਿਓਥਰੈਪਿਸਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਤ ਸਟੇਟ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਬੀ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ. ਭਾਗ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਦੂਜਾ, ਤੀਜਾ ਤੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਦੋ ਲਗਭਗ 34 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਜਿਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਸਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਇਕ ਛੱਤ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੋ ਕਈ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਇੰਟਰਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ. ਭਾਗ ਚੌਥਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯੂ.ਜੀ. ਕੈਟਾਗਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਧ ਪੱਤਰ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ੋਧ ਪੱਤਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਫੀਲਡ ਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਉਪਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੂ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੇਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੁਤ ਕਰਤਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਨਫਰੈਂਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਟੇਜ ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਰਮੈਂਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬੀ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ. ਭਾਗ ਚੌਥਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੋਧ ਪੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੁਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਓਵਰਆਲ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਦੇ ਪੇਪਰ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸ਼ਕਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਰੀਫ਼ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਮਾਚਲੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਡਾਂਸ (ਨਾਟੀ), ਸੋਲੋ ਡਾਂਸ, ਰੰਗੋਲੀ, ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ, ਫੇਸ ਪੇਂਟਿੰਗ ਆਦਿ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰਿੰਆਕ ਸ਼ਾਰਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਅਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
