Excellent Performance by Lyallpur Khalsa College Students

Karanbeer Kaur and Tanya Kaur Mankoo of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have bagged 1st position jointly in the University exams of M.Sc. (Biotechnology)-I Semester by getting 9.08 SGPA out of 10, whereas Nidhi Sharma bagged 2nd positions by getting 8.85 SGPA in the same class. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Dr. Suman Chopra. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Prof. Navdeep Kaur Vice-Principal, Dr. Arun Dev Sharma Head, P.G. Department of Biotechnology were also present on this occasion.

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਐਮ.ਐਸਸੀ. ਬਾਇਓਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਕਰਨਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਨੀਆ ਕੌਰ ਮਨਕ ਨੇ 10 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਵਿਚੋਂ 9.08 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸੇ ਕਲਾਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨਿਧੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾਂ ਨੇ 8.85 ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਅਰੁਣਦੇਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਬਾਇਓਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
