Dr. Suman Chopra takes over as the Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College

Dr. Suman Chopra, Dean Academic Council and Head PG Department of History, took over the charge of Principal (Officiating) of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar after the superannuation of Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh. Dr. Suman Chopra is a well-known name in the field of education and especially in educational institutions of North India. Along with teaching, she has also held other important administrative positions. Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President Governing Council and Joint Secretary S. Jaspal Singh Waraich specially congratulated Dr. Suman Chopra on becoming the Principal. On this occasion, Dr. Suman Chopra thanked Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President Governing Council for reposing faith in her and said that our institution is a big institution of North India, and it is our primary duty to maintain its glory. She said that she is committed to working day and night for the overall development of the college with the support of all the staff and students. She added that for the bright future of the students, new courses will also be introduced along with traditional courses and the students will be provided education as per the needs of the time. The occasion was witnessed by the all the heads of various departments, teaching, non-teaching staff and students of the college.

 

ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਉੱਘੀ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ, ਡੀਨ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਤੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਹਿਸਟਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਦਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਿਆ ਨਾਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਐਡਮਨਿਸਟਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਉਪਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਿਭਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੜੈਚ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਬਣਨ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਯਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਮੁਢਲਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੱਧਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੋਰਸ ਵੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ, ਸਮੂਹ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨ-ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮਨ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਬਣਨ 'ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
