Lyallpur Khalsa College Students win accolade in District Yuva Utsav

Lyallpur Khalsa College provides ample opportunities to its students to showcase their talents at different platforms. Recently, the students of the college participated in District Level Yuva Utsav organized by NYKS at NIT Jalandhar and won positions in 4 events. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh congratulated the students and in his message said that college is committed for the overall development of its students. He added that these competitions instill confidence to be creative and expressive. He told students that these events are also the parameter to measure their strengths and weaknesses and take lessons to improve further. Prof. Satpal Singh, Coordinator, Youth Services said that LKC students won positions in 04 events competing with colleges and clubs of Jalandhar. He informed that Apurva Dhir (B.Com) won 1st position in Declamation, Parmajit (BA) bagged second position in Photography, Prabhjot (BA) won 2nd position in Painting, while in Cultural event LKC team won 2nd position. Apart from trophies, the students won cash prizes of Rs.13000/- in total. The students thanked President Governing Council, Principal and LKC Youth Services to provide such opportunities.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਐਨ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਯੂਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਯੁਵਾ ਉਤਸਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਜੀਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵਪੂਰਤ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਆਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਪਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਈ ਸਬਕ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਪਦੰਡ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ, ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਏ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਜ਼ੀਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਪੂਰਵਾ ਧੀਰ (ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ) ਨੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ, ਪਰਮਜੀਤ (ਬੀ.ਏ.) ਨੇ ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ (ਬੀ.ਏ.) ਨੇ ਪੱਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਟਰਾਫੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ 13,000/- ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਜਿੱਤੇ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
