Lyallpur Khalsa College organizes Punjab State Super Football League match

Punjab State Super Football League matches were organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh presided over this occasion and he was accompanied by Dr. Rashpal Singh, Dean Sports. The first match was played between Guru Football Club and Bathinda Football Club teams, in which Guru Football Club won the match by 5-1. Similarly, the second match was played between Skiller Football Academy and Guru Football Club in which Guru Football Club won 4-0. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that all the teams showed high level of their game. He said that students should participate in sports along with studies, which leads to their physical development as well as mental development. Congratulating all the teams, he said that the college has always been making a valuable contribution to raise the level of sports and the best players have been provided all kinds of financial support to the students. He said that the college is committed to honoring the students with high level sports talent and provided them with all necessary facilities. On this occasion, apart from Mr. Amrit Lal Saini, teachers of the college, non-teaching staff members and a large number of students were present.

 

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਸੁਪਰ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਲੀਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਚ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ 'ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡੀਨ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮੈਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ ਅਤੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ ਨੇ 5-1 ਨਾਲ ਮੈਚ ਜਿਤਿਆ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਮੈਚ ਸਕਿਲਰ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ 4-0 ਨਾਲ ਜੇਤੂ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਵਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਉੱਚ ਦਰਜੇ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨ-ਬਧ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲਾਲ ਸੈਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ, ਨਾਨ-ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
