Recently, NSS Program Officer Prof Satpal Singh won the Award of Honor for Best Teacher in the Environment Championship 2024 organized by National Edu Trust of India under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. Principal Dr Jaspal Singh felicitated the winner and said that LKC supports its staff to reach higher milestones in their pursuit of career advancement. Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged University Positions in Diploma in Computer Maintenance - I Sem

Balshaan Singh of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 1st position in the University exams of Diploma in Computer Maintenance - I Sem by getting 8.50 CGPA out of 10, whereas Kiranjot Kaur has bagged 2nd position by getting 8.25 CGPA and Manik Shelly have bagged 3rd positions by getting 8.00 CGPA in the same class. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Dr. Jaspal Singh. He also said that students are the ambassadors of college who should always aim to make the college and their families proud. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand Head Department of Computer Science & IT and Prof. Navneet Kaur were also present on this occasion.

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਇੰਨ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਮੇਨਟੀਨੈਂਸ (ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ.) ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਬਲਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 10 ਵਿਚੋਂ 8.5 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸੇ ਕਲਾਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਕਿਰਨਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 8.25 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮਾਨਿਕ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਨੇ 8.00 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਨੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਨੰਦ, ਮੁਖੀ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਤੇ ਆਟੀ.ਟੀ. ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
