Release of Prospectus for the Academic Session 2024-2025

 

The College Prospectus prepared as per NEP-2020 was  released for the admission of academic year 2024-25 at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. This information was given by the College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh who said  that the college was going to allow scholarship worth  over one crore rupees for the year 2024-25 to the meritorious students . He also said that along with traditional courses, new technical and vocational courses were also being  started by the college. He informed  that under the new education policy-2020, students in the college could take the option of honors degree in undergraduate classe, and that the college offered undergraduate classes like BA Journalism and Mass Communication, B.Sc. (Medical, Non-Medical, Economics, Computer Science, IT, Biotechnology), B.Com, B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Voc (Software Development), B.Design (Multimedia) and  BPT, as well as post graduation classes  Apart from this, admissions was also going on for diploma courses DCA, DCM, D.C. Animation, P.G.D.B.M., P.G.D.C.A. On this occasion, Dr. Harjit Singh, Head, Department of Mathematics, Prof. Sandeep Ahuja, Convener Prospectus Printing Committee, Dr. Arun Dev Sharma, Head Department of Biotech, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Bhupinderpal Singh, Prof. Vivek Mahajan, Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Dr. Palwinder Singh, Dr. Karanbir Singh, Dr. Ravneet Kaur, Prof. Navneet Kaur, Prof. Mandeep Singh, Prof. Kiran Amar, Prof. Reetika, Prof. Annie Goyal, Mr. Kanwar Sukhjit Singh, Office Superintendent, Mr. Surinder Kumar Chalotra, P.A. to Principal, Mr. Saroop Lal and other staff members were also present.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਵਰੇ 2024-25 ਦੇ ਦਾਖਲੇ ਲਈ ਐਨ.ਈ.ਪੀ.-2020 ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਾਲ 2024-25 ਲਈ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ, ਖੇਡਾਂ, ਕਲਚਰਲ ਆਦਿ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੀ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਲੋਂ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਨਵੇਂ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਕੋਰਸ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੀਤੀ-2020 ਤਹਿਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅੰਡਰ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਨਰਜ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦੀ ਆਪਸ਼ਨ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਅੰਡਰ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਜਰਨਲਿਜ਼ਮ ਐਂਡ ਮਾਸ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ. (ਮੈਡੀਕਲ, ਨਾਨ-ਮੈਡਿਕਲ, ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕਸ, ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ, ਆਈ.ਟੀ., ਬਾਇਓਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀ), ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ, ਬੀ.ਬੀ.ਏ., ਬੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਬੀ.ਵਾਕ (ਸੋਫਟਵੇਅਰ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ), ਬੀ.ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ (ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡੀਆ), ਬੀ.ਪੀ.ਟੀ., ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾਂ ਕੋਰਸ ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ., ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਨੀਮੇਸ਼ਨ, ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਐਮ., ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ. ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਦਿਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਚੰਗੇਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸੰਦੀਦਾ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੀਟ ਪੱਕੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਐਡਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਸੇਲ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮੁਖੀ ਗਣਿਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੰਦੀਪ ਅਹੂਜਾ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਪ੍ਰਿਟਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਡਾ. ਅਰੁਣਦੇਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਮੁਖੀ ਬਾਇਓਟੈਕ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਡਾ. ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਾ. ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਿਵੇਕ ਮਹਾਜਨ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਡਾ. ਪਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਕਰਨਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਵਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਵਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਕਿਰਨ ਅਮਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਿਤੀਕਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਐਨੀ ਗੋਇਲ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੰਵਰ ਸੁਖਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਦਫਤਰ ਸੁਪਰਡੈਂਟ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਚਲੋਤਰਾ, ਪੀ.ਏ., ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਲਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
