The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar celebrated Women's Day


Department of Computer Science & IT, Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar celebrated International Women's Day.  Chief guest of the function was Principal of the college Dr. Jaspal Singh who inaugurated the function by Cake cutting & highlighted the role & importance of women in our society in his speech. Dr. Jaspal Singh emphasized on women empowerment and said Women's empowerment remains a pivotal focus globally for which Women’s day celebrated on March 8th each year. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of gender equality. Head, Department of Economics & College Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur was also present among the dignitaries. She said that this day is celebrated to acknowledge the contributions of women worldwide and women play a significant role in societal progress.

On this occasion Head Department of Computer Science and IT Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand said Women play an integral part in society; without their progress, the overall progress of society comes to a halt.

The occasion was witnessed by the presence of Prof. Sandeep Bassi, Dr. Manpreet Singh Lehal, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Dr Daljit kaur, Prof Navneet Kaur and other faculty members.
