The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Khalsa College students clear CA foundation exam

 


Six Students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar have passed CA foundation examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). This information was given by the college Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh who congratulated the students, their parents and the department on this achievement. Dr. Jaspal Singh Principal informed that Raghav Sharma, Amit Kumar, Quber Sharma, Krish Saini, Shivika Raheja and Dhruv Gupta of B.Com. Sem II cleared the examination under the guidance of the CA Foundation Guidance Cell of the College Commerce Department. ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਛੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਅਕਾਊਂਟੈਂਟਸ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਛਮੀ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ.ਏ. ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸੀ.ਏ. ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਗਾਈਡੈਂਸ ਸੈੱਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਬੀਕਾਮ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਘਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਅਮਿਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਕੁਬੇਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸੈਣੀ, ਸ਼ਿਵਿਕਾ ਰਹੇਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਰੁਵ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਸਦਕਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 'ਚ ਸਫਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ, ਸੈੱਲ ਦੇ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਡਾ. ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
