Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Lyallpur Khalsa College Professor gets awarded by the Health Minister, Govt. of Punjab




Red Ribbon Club, Coordinator of Lyallpur Khalsa College was awarded by Dr. Balbir Singh, Hon. Health & Medical Education Minister, Govt. of Punjab in a State Level Program held in Ludhiana for social awareness related activities in the session 2022-23. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh congratulated Prof. Satpal Singh, Coordinator RRC and said that college is committed for the overall growth of its staff and students and provides ample opportunities to excel at every possible platform. He added that this recognition, in the form of best Red Ribbon Club and best Program Coordinator at the State Level Program, is the testimony of the fact that hard work with selfless approach gets paid sooner or later. He informed that this award has been given for blood donation camps, Youth related activities and awareness programs and rallies conducted in the region. Prof. Satpal Singh informed that out of 700 Red Ribbon Clubs of Punjab only 09 best clubs were selected for this award. He thanked College Governing Council, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh and Assistant Director, Youth Affairs Jalandhar, Mr. Jaspal Singh for the continuous guidance and support.
