The Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp will start at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 11th July 2024 (Registration will be held on 9th and 10th July at 5:00 PM at Open Air Theatre)

Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. NSS Units of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar won positions in Swacchhta League 2.0


NSS Units of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar participated and won positions in Swachhta League 2.0 under the theme Swachhta Hi Sewa organized by Office of Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jalandhar at Sodal Mandir. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur congratulated the winners and asserted that the college is committed to provide ample opportunities to its students at different platforms. Prof. Satpal Singh Chief Program Officer NSS informed that NSS volunteers won first position in Nukkad Natak and Rangoli. The volunteers participated in Swachhta pledge and rallied to make people aware about the cleanliness campaign of the govt.
