Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. Saloni Gupta of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 1st position in the University exams of M.Sc. (Chemistry)-II Semester by getting 401 marks out of 450, whereas Sandeep Singh and Anand Sagar bagged 2nd and 3rd positions by getting 381 and 373 marks respectively in the same class. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life.
