Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Parul Singh of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has bagged 7th position in the University exams of MA-Political Science Semester-II by getting 342 marks out of 400 whereas Kirandeep of the same class bagged 9th position by getting 340 marks respectively. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Prof. Jasreen Kaur. She also said that the College was committed to provide quality education to its students and it would ensure all possible help to the deserving and needy students. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Dr. Anu Moom and Dr. Ajitpal Singh were also present on this occasion.
