Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for carrying forward the heritage of Bhangra and taking it to international level. This Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Folk Dance Bhangra Camp from 11th July to 20th July 2024. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Principal Prof. A meeting was held regarding the planning and implementation of the camp under the leadership of Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof. Navdeep Kaur, in which it was said that Bhangra not only entertains but also keeps the body fit. This dance form is also internationally recognized. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee. Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina said that this camp is organized every year in the college campus by the team of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. International Labour Day celebrated at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar

International Labour Day was celebrated at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur, heads of all teaching departments and employees of the senior non-teaching staff of the college congratulated the Gardeners, Peons and Sweepers. Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur said that Labour Day is dedicated to the hardworking workers. She said that today is a day to salute the invaluable contribution made by the working class in the making of the country. The main purpose of this day is to honor the achievements of the labourers and make them aware of their rights. She said that the governments and other organizations are trying to solve the problems of the workers. Heads of various departments, other teachers and non-teaching staff members were also present on this occasion.
